Single Origin Espresso is exactly that, one coffee from a single source. Traditionally, the espresso beverage comes from blends, but some very unique, amazing espressos come from single origin shots.
A common misconception is that the espresso beverage is a bitter, acquired taste. Though it is a very different experience than regular drip coffees, espresso should be a rich, flavorful beverage.
Another misunderstanding is the idea that espresso refers to the beans. True many roasters make espresso specific blends, but not every espresso bean should be black and oily. As with all our coffees, we roast and blend our espresso specific single origin beans and blends to their peak flavor profiles.
